The ARGON Gas acts an insulator to keep the cool air inside and the hot air out side during the summer and just the opposite during the winter. The only plastic parts of the window are the latches. Our windows come in a choice of colors and styles. All our windows come with screens. The glass and frame have a 10 year warranty except the vinyl window has a life time frame warranty. Our glass window is a combined 5/8" thickness where most other windows are 3/8" thickness.
